Arrow index throwing off tune #archery

This is gonna look ugly but my question is very specific.

WILL SPINE INDEXING YOUR ARROW SHOW THIS MUCH VARIATION ON PAPER?

I’ve been having more troubles tuning my Triax (previous post about crazy high poundage).

Setup:
28" draw
75 lb peak weight
Easton axis 300 match grade, 27.25" carbon to carbon,
Arrow 480 grain total, 100 point, 50 insert.

My groupings have been terrible past 30 and I suspect improper arrow flight.

Took a bare shaft to paper and after making some adjustments I was finding the arrow shot better nocked one way that the other. You can see by the picture the tears labeled "1" were oriented in one way and a "2" oriented the other way. You can see the tear goes nock right on the 2’s.

I know there is still significant tear on both orientations but the difference was repeatable.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

Paper Tune Troubles #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

I am working on tuning my brand new Prime Logic.

I’ve coached the L/R tear completely out of it, but if I adjust my rest lower/nock point higher it just doesn’t look right to me…the arrow appears to be at too extreme of a downward angle.

I am shooting Black Eagle X Impacts, 250, with roughly 13% FOC.

Thoughts? Do I need to speed up the top cam?

This is consistent:

Best broadhead that will tune accurately? G5 Deadmeat? #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

I am looking for recommendations for the best broadhead that works well but also tunes well compared to field points…

I have kinetic kaos 536 grain setup for my 28.5/70 bow. I’ve read that mechanicals fly more like field points than fixed blades, and the G5 deadmeat comes with the ballistic matching point that is supposed to have identical flight path when compared to the actual broadhead… Has anyone used these? What is your take on them?

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

New Breed Cyborg tune chart: 2013-2015 #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Trying to find a tune chart or the specs on a New Breed Cyborg. It’s a 2013 bow, with 2015 cams on it….if that makes a difference.

Finally got it strung up today, and I thought it was 37" ATA, but this is sitting at 37.5". This is running the longest cam (EL I think) so I thought maybe it sits a bit longer with that cam. Don’t want to go assuming it’s wrong without checking the specs.

Found one chart from 2012, but for some reason its missing the details from the longest cam, its all just blank.

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks, Stu

Bows with Yokes…… are they easier to tune??

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Are bows with yokes easier to tune…..especially with broadheads?

Can you tweak a non-yoke bow in other ways to achieve the same results as twisting yokes on a yoke bow?

Pin pulling off target – tune help

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Hey everyone, Ive recently re strung my hoyt which is relatively new to me. Before i switched strings I had a little bit of the same problem but its a little worse now. Im wondering if this is all caused by draw length, its the only thing I cant measure because i have no draw board.

Anyway, I get a slight string slap on my arm, its not enough to hurt but over time it would cause pain – this is slightly worse after new string install. Also when im holding on target all is well but as soon as i go to apply pressure to fire my release it pulls off target in a seemingly random pattern up and down.

Can get pictures in the next day or two if required.

Bareshaft tune or not??

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

That is the question. Should I try to bareshaft tune or not??…. I am shooting a Htr. And shooting it well for me. I have bh and fp hitting together. I have noticed that as I increase yardage. Say 60 and 70 yards. I start to miss to the right. With fp and bh. I move sight. And hit left at closer ranges. I decided to to shoot a bareshaft at 20 yards today. I hit about 1 to 2 inches to the right of fp with nock left impact. Should I try to tune the bareshaft??.. And how would I go about doing so without a woke system. Not really wanting to start using shims. Or should I try to make slight rest adjustments??… I am shooting 60# @ 28".. Shooting gt kinetics. Cut to 27 1/4 using 100 gr tips plus 20 gr screw in weight
