using dip tubes and urethane

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Im using minwax helsman spar urethane. It says you need to stir it before use so I did before I filled up my dip tube.

Now how do yall keep your urethane mixed well after you have it in your dip tube? Do you shake it up or something? Take it outta the dip tube after use?

My arrows finish out at about 40grains with tips and all. Should I add 5gr per inch weight tunes to gain a little more punch? I have not chronographed my bow yet.

Here are my specs:

*2013 Prairie Lonbows (Panther) 46# @ 30"

GT 3555 arrows at 30.5" with 125gr tips

Thoughts anyone?

weight tubes?

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Well I used to shoot easton axis 340’s with a 100 grain head, blazer vanes, and tracer knocks. I am guessing the finished weight was around 440-460 grains?
I finally shot them all up, lost or broke them in deer, and I was in need of some new arrows. I got a $ 50 gift card to bass pro for Christmas and i bought some Beman ICS speed arrows. They are DEFINITELY faster out of the gate than the heavier axis arrows, however they do NOT stay fast. They drop of CONSIDERATELY after 30 yards. I am wanting to add weight in hopes of maintaining trajectory at longer distances. Has anybody used weight tubes? Do they change spine, are they hard to install? any help-ideas would be nice.
