Airline travel with a bow. #archery

Finally have the time to do an early season archery hunt in Ky this year. Flying up, as it’s going to be a long weekend trip. Questioning wether to fly the bow or ship it up. Flying up on Allegiant, the cost of baggage starts to outweigh the cheap fare. Thought it’d be pretty easy to ship it up before hand, and send boots and other odds and ends.
For those of you who have flown to hunt often, what’s your choice usually?

Downward Nock Travel

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

I have a High Country Ultra Force with a spring loaded prong rest with new cables and string. I timed the cams and shot some bare shafts thru paper. I got rid of horizontal tear (bare shaft) thru paper. It has a terrible vertical up tear (bare shaft) thru paper. Arrow was at level with bow let down. I first lowered and then raised the nock point but it still has a vertical up tear. At 20 yards bare shaft and fletched arrows hit about the same horizontally but bare shaft is about 10"-12" below fletched arrows and you can actually see bare shaft flying nock high. I put bow on drawboard and reset nocking point with arrow level at rest. At full draw arrow is no longer level it is nock high. My theory is that as the bow is firing the arrow is forcing the rest down and as soon as it leaves the string the rest flings the nock end of the arrow skyward. What causes the downward nock travel ,(weak limb?) or are my cams simply not in time yet? Upward travel would be ok as this would just raise the arrow off the rest. Do I need to trade places with my limbs ?? All help appreciated. Thanks.
