Hybrid bow risers? #archery

Long time poster here (JMaxH), just had trouble logging in with my old account so I made a new one. With both aluminum and carbon bows on the market now, why hasn’t anyone made an aluminum-carbon composite riser? What I mean is, a thin aluminum shell with rod-like carbon struts and/or riser parts in certain places for added strength? I think that would provide a superior strength to weight ratio, and make it to where you could have longer ATA bows with long, stable risers that are fairly lightweight. What are your thought on this? Or is my thinking just ….. dumb?

Hi guys,

I havent been on here much, work etc, but i am in a desperate need of a bow upgrade… Let me clarify, i am an olympic recurve shooter (W&W tf apecs with nano limbs) and i was recently introduced to KAYA archery products. I enjoyed quietness but one of my pals said its not good to have that quiet bow, because you have no feedback…

Im thinking of buying K7 riser with K3 limbs (budget issu0e i know K7 are bit better) and id really appreciate if anyone who owns or did own one of these beauties, can provide any intel in what am i letting my self into…

Thanks

Questions about wood ILF risers

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

So im pretty much settled on buying a Trad Tech wooden ILF riser for a good hunting, 3D and target bow. I will be shooting off the shelf and I want to buy some 30 to 35 pound black max ILF limbs to practice and build form with. I am 6’1" tall and 220 pounds and I would have a Traditional draw length of approx 28.5 to 29". I am trying to put together a nice 60" or 62" recurve bow with the idea of 3D and deer hunting. I am wondering if I would be better suited with the 17" Tradtech Galaxy riser or the 19" Tradtech Pinnacle II riser? I have large hands and usually wear an XL glove if that helps.

Also are there any other companies that build nice 17" or 19" wood ILF risers? Thanks
