Bow Sight Decision #archery

First off I’m really not trying to start a "best" bow sight debate. I know there is plenty of those already. I’m looking more for just some advice for my specific situation considering price, features and long term use on a few sights(but open to other sight suggestions as well). I’m just getting back into archery mostly for the sake of more hunting opportunity. Target shooting will solely be for practice and fun for me, no competing. I live in a mountainous area so steep angled shots are definitely a possibility and depending on skill I could see shot ranges varying from 0-60 yards. The three sights I’m looking at are the TRUGLO Carbon XS Xtreme 5 pin($ 35), Trophy Ridge Fix 5 pin($ 64) and the Viper Archery Venom XL 5 pin($ 100).

The things I care about are reliability, pin visibility, accuracy and I’d prefer not to have too much weight for the sake of balance.

The TRUGLO has no axis adjustment, but seems to be very highly regarded as a solid, lightweight, basic sight if you don’t need extra adjustment.

The fix has micro adjustment and 2nd axis adjustment as well as some other cool little features, but its almost twice as heavy as the other two sights.

The venom is very light and simple, but seems super durable and is also the only one with both second and third axis adjustment.

So basically I’m wondering if the extra features(micro, 2nd axis, 3rd axis, cnc construction, etc) are worth the extra $ 30-65. I am a college student on a tight budget, but I do realize I’ll spend more buying multiple inadequate sights rather than one good one upfront. I would say $ 100 is about my max and that’s honestly a stretch for me at the moment.

First off, hello everyone. This forum has been a great help answering many of the questions I have googled related to archery.

So I have recently been in the market for my first bow. Problem is I am a short male (5’5) with a draw length of 25 fingers or 24.5 with a release; and finding bows in a suitable draw length is difficult. I have gone to Bass Pro, Dicks (what a joke), and the local archery shop. Well at BP they suggested a women’s/kids or buy a bow and get custom cams to suit my draw length. I find a woman or kids bow degrading so refuse and the special can option to expensive. Dicks said draw length isn’t as big of a deal as people make it out to be and an extra inch or so isn’t the end of the world. Well I went to a local shop and was shown two options. One was a Mission Craze the other was a Hoyt Charger. Apparently the craze is pretty much still a kids bow. Now to the charger.. $ 500 bare bow $ 650 package. Plus release, arrows, etc it is a bit over $ 800 to get me started shooting. The man in the shop mentioned the new Hoyt lines coming out in just a few months. Now to the question of..should I wait and see if they release a new 2014 Hoyt charger? Do you think the 2013 Charger will go on sale when a new line is released? Would it be considered rude to offer the shop less than they are asking for this bow?

Also, does anyone have any suggestions for bows in my draw length? My draw weight is 60lb+.

Thanks for any advice available.
