A little help with a Prime Centergy X1 #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

I recently acquired one of these bows for a target setup for a killer deal with a ready to shoot package with some top shelf accesories, and had to change out the cam draw length mods and install a peep today at a friend’s house using his press (I posted in the G5/Prime forum looking for some help and got no replies at all and the search unction is useless for everything except showing classifieds posts it seems)

Now the mod swap went well, and surprisingly easy considering I’ve never done any work with a press myself yet, but the issue and confusion lies in the limb stop posts and the wide range of adjustment available. While the let off and rock solid back wall feel really good, I’m wondering what other adjustments can be made with these posts?

Prime centergy way off center shot?? #archery

Prime Centergy Hybrid 65 LBS 28.5” Victory RIP Elite 400 28.5” C to C 125 grain tip 30 grain outsert
I’m working on my dads bow and for the life of me could not get a nock right tear out of the bow. I assumed this arrow was super weak.
I finally got this to shoot bullet holes with both fletch and bare shaft. My issue is center shot it 1 1/8” off the riser???
I’ve tried 100 grain and 125 grain tips and could not get the 100’s to shoot.
I’ve messed with the cable guard and it tuned all the way tight.
What do I got going on with this bow?

Centergy vs CT3 split limbs a real upgrade? #archery

I’m considering another Prime. My last was the Ion. For you Prime shooters out there do you think Prime switching to the split limbs with the dual cams is truly beneficial? I’ve seen some threads with difficulty tuning out persistent tears out of the new Logic CT series. I’m wondering if maybe the old solid limbs on the Centergy series tune better. The only benefit I see in specs is 2fps. Perhaps there’s less shock and vibe with split limbs…

Prime Centergy initial set-up #archery

Just took possession of a Prime Centergy. Not my first Prime, but I am having a few set up issues right out of the gate.

1)I understand to time the cams, the stops need to be set all the way to the back position. When I do this on the Centergy, the stops still don’t quite touch after the cam rolls over and it is at full draw. I really have to pull into the back wall to get the stops to set but it actually feels like it’s at full draw about 1/8" off the stops. Is this normal? My Rival and Alloy never did this.

2)The ATA of the bow is at 33.5" but the manual says it should be 33.25". That is a ton of slack to take up in the cables from my experience. Anyone else finding their numbers off by this much or is it just my bow?

Was planning on using my EZ green LCA press to press my prime centergy (its in the mail currently). But I was watching a video and some guy said they are beyond parallel limbs (they don’t look that way to me).

Are these centergys safe to press with a simply EZ green with the draw peg fingers?
