Center Drilled Lens Question #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Getting ready to purchase my first target sight setup and I’m wanting to try a scope with a center drilled lens. For anyone who shoots a center drilled lens is the fiber visible without using a light? I’m thinking of going with a 35mm scope, I plan on using it for everything. I’m ordering a DS advantage sight and I’m basically trying to decide between getting one of his scopes, a used scope, or an ultraview 2 scope. The DS advantage scope will cost an extra $ 30 for the light adapter and it looks like most light kits are around $ 100. The ultraview 2 comes with the built in light but costs $ 200. Don’t want to end up ordering a whole setup then realizing it won’t work without adding a light kit.

Prime centergy way off center shot?? #archery

Prime Centergy Hybrid 65 LBS 28.5” Victory RIP Elite 400 28.5” C to C 125 grain tip 30 grain outsert
I’m working on my dads bow and for the life of me could not get a nock right tear out of the bow. I assumed this arrow was super weak.
I finally got this to shoot bullet holes with both fletch and bare shaft. My issue is center shot it 1 1/8” off the riser???
I’ve tried 100 grain and 125 grain tips and could not get the 100’s to shoot.
I’ve messed with the cable guard and it tuned all the way tight.
What do I got going on with this bow?

Center of pressure in the grip? #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Kinda a weird question for you all. I’m wondering about getting the center of pressure of my grip right in the center of the riser on my shots. I’ve got my wrist bent and my knuckles at a 45, my grip looks great. But for some reason, if I put the pressure of my grip right in the center of the riser (left to right) my forearm rotates into the way of the string. I can see my arrows missing right because my center of pressure is slightly off to the left (towards bow arm, shooting righty) Torque tuning has helped, but I’d like to fix the problem instead of band-aid it.

Center serving length #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Is there a reason that the center serving needs to be as long as it is, it seems like you would just need it enough to nock an arrow and tie a d loop, the only thing I can think of is that it helps hold it together and keep from unraveling. Can someone shed some light on this for me. Thank you

Bcy 3d for center serving #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Anybody else use bcy3d for your center serving. I have a Hoyt Spyder and originally tried polygrip but my knocks were to tight so I though I would try 3d. I know bcy doesn’t advise 3d for center serving, do you think I’ll have any problems?

Thanks,
Evan

Spine issues or center shot probe??

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Shooting a carbon spyder 30 at 66 lbs, using Easton Axis 400’s at 28".

Having issues, muzzy MX3’s are 3-4 inches right of field points(100gr) at 30 yards. Dbl checked center shot and it looked good and proshop, bumped it away from the riser just a tad and seemed to help a bit, but if CS looks good I don’t want to mess with it to much!? Do I need to goto a 500spine axis?

Thank you for any advise and help!

So started making stuff> I work at hardware store so things easy to come by. This be my fist post of my tools.
