It came with a bow stringer. The bow stringer is a cheap rope string that is tied to the leather caps at the end of the string. These leather caps are suppose to cap the end of the bow for you to properly string the bow. But the bow stringer rope always gets trap on the groove at the bow’s end so you can’t slide the bow string into the groove because it’s occupied.

When you shoot with the bow for an extended period of time, you get blister on the upper thumb knuckle of the hand that hold the bow.

Compare to a Sage hunting bow, it’s not as efficient to put it together or take it down. Allen wrench, washers, screws, and nuts. Too many parts.

I purchased this after shooting a friend’s martin takedown, and I haven’t had a problem yet. The arrow rest is a little flimsy, and it has worn over time. The quality of the bow is unbeatable for the price, and it comes with a bow stringer. I recommend some string silencers if you are taking this thing hunting, it does have a nice sound though. The 35lb pull is easy to shoot and my arms don’t get sore as they do when I shoot a 50+ bow for an afternoon. I highly recommend this bow for any experience level!
