Guys,

2 years ago I purchased a crossbow and used it exclusively in Missouri instead of my bow.

Well, to make a long story short, I’m going on an archery elk hunt in Colorado this year and am going to use my bow. I’ve hit the weights and treadmill already for the last month and a half. During that same time I had my lbs install a new string and we paper tuned my bow, both bare shaft arrows and fletched. It’s dialed in shooting bullet holes. Currently set at 65lbs, shooting 263fps with 478 grain arrows.

I decided I was going to do the School of Nock 10 step training program by John Dudley. Went to the shed tonight to do some shooting at 20 yards. Well my shoulder was screaming at me! I haven’t shot very much at all for at least 2 years, but could pull my bow back at 65lbs with ease. I guess it’s my rotator cuff.

Is something like the AccuBow worth a damn to get this shoulder in shape? Or what are some exercises that have worked for you guys?
