I know most of you, maybe all of you, have already updated your Xero sights,
but in the off chance there is a new user that assumes it has come to them updated, then I’m here to tell you it hasn’t. I was told by Garmin before I bought it that it would come updated, and that I would not need to update it for last years "freezing" or "locked up" issues. Well, mine locked up after having it for about a month! WAS not good!
Pretty easy to get an update, just go to this link and install Garmin Express, plug your Xero into your computer via the USB and then follow the instructions.

DON’T be me! LOL…get your update today!
OK, end of public service announement!

Has anyone figured out how to skip a shot when sighting in your Garmin? If you know it was a bad shot why does it make you adjust the pin by .5"? It makes more sense to me to shoot a group and adjust the sight based on the center of that. Or at least only adjust the pin based on confident shots. I would close the calibration and shoot a group then reopen the arrow profile to adjust that calibration distance, but it does not allow you to modify it; you can only erase and redo it. I have read the instructions multiple times. Am I missing something or is this just a very poor algorithm for sighting in the bow?
Thank you all.

There are over 1000 threads on this forum alone discussing a multi-pin sight vs. a single pin sight. It appears that the Garmin Xero could be the best of both worlds. However, it doesnt come cheap.
The Garmin Xero is priced at $ 800+. A rangefinder is $ 150-$ 600 (average $ 300) and a Spot Hogg sight is $ 300, so we are actually talking about $ 200. The question becomes, Is the new Garmin sight $ 200 better than everything else?
I am waiting for real world reviews, but if it performs as expected, for me it will be a yes.
PS: I have no ties to Garmin, it just looks like a game changer……..
