Our 3 week season opens in the morning the 15th. Who’s taking their archery setup?
By the looks of it, bird #’s way down. Could be a tough season.

Not me. Western KY is still in summer heat. I’m going out every morning until about 10 or 10:30 but forget about the afternoons. I can’t wait until it’s in the 50s and 60s!

We’ve all seen them on sale at Wally World after the season ends. The hoarder in me couldn’t say no even though Im not sure I would even use it lol.

So who’s made their own scrape with it and scored?

local places didn’t seem to have a lot of experience with bow’s, still waiting for a few places to contact me back.

Ok folks sound off if you are going to send a Grim Reaper Whitetail Special through a gobbler this spring. Three blades with a 2" cut is awesome!!!

I went out the second day of the season and I brought my pellet gun cause I saw like 20 squirrels the night before. but of course they don’t come out. so it like quarter till 5 witch is when they start moving in my woods. I say lets put down the gun and pick up the bow right when I did that a buck walked into the picture. I glassed him he looked like 2 forks with a brow tine and a little kicker. so I thought man I aint gonna shoot him. then he gets all antsy. well here comes this squirrel. he comes about 10 yards the deer is 55 so I decided I was gonna shoot the squirrel. boom I shot. deer takes off bout 100-160 yds then he comes back to 35 yds. then I get a glimpse he was a symmetrical 8. so I draw back thinkin yea I got this. I shoot right before it hits the deer perfect WHAK! with all the luck in the world I hit a little branch thin as paper. it sent my arrow just over his spine and into and through a dead tree :angry:
