Was just talking to a good friend owns a bow shop talking about all thats going on , was telling if you wanted to order a new Mathews today wait time was 24-30 weeks . Unreal !

This is great news!!!

Especially in Minnesota where wolves have decimated deer and moose populations. I’m not a kill them all type but they need to be managed to a far lower level than they currently are.

Ironically they claim "climate change" is what’s killing the moose but there are so many moose on Isle Royale that they reintroduced wolves to lower their numbers. Is Isle Royale a utopia that is impervious to climate change than?

Dad found my deer. 3 weeks after I shot him during Modern Gun season here in KY.

I made a shot with him in late Oct with bow at 30 yes but the shot did some wild damage.

He lived… then I shot him with the ole AR…never using that again…. and made a terrible hit high and back way far.

He has no other holes or damage to his hide after I skinned him for a bit but bailed out due to smell…meat clearly no good.

He was damn near frozen solid.

Thoughts on why the arrow didnt penetrate? Perhaps shoulder hit and glanced up and over… used NAP killzone Max Mechanical…

Got the call today, mine is all ready to go pick up. I hear these horror stories about guys waiting years to get their mounts back, IF they even get them back in some cases. It is crazy. I only bring it up because my Taxi was chatting with me today about helping out other Taxidermists, trying to get them caught up when they had stuff 18 months and beyond still sitting on the shelf undone. He says it is a huge problem in his industry & I told him "I know, I read about it on my hunting forums very often."

He no longer helps out other Taxidermists, as he’s got his business so built up it keeps him busy all year long now. Said he does about 300 mounts a year, and he works all by himself.

He says he can’t understand why these guys can’t get their work out in a timely manner. Procrastination, not very organized, OR they don’t know what they are doing. I don’t know, but I’m happy that my Taxi does very timely work.

My spyder 34 has come in

today for some odd reason i was sick of waiting and had got myself extremely pissed off

so i planned to go to the local shop and ask "Hey where is my damn bow" when they opened at 2pm i ended up falling asleep till 9pm and out of the blue get a call that my bow just arrived

so now i have to wait 9 weeks and 1 day

im sure the only day im going to go to the shop and fall asleep it there

i will have my 1st bow tomorrow hopefully i stick with it
