Looking for second opinion on spine #archery

looking for a second opinion on spine for my brothers hunting setup. He drew a moose tag and wants to do his first archery hunt.

He is shooting an Elite impulse 34 at 30.5" draw and 65# draw weight. He left arrow selection to me and I settled on Easton 6mm axis. Arrows will be around 29 to 30". But I want to use brass inserts. Archers advantage says 50 grains is optimal, maybe ever so slightly stiff and says 75 grains is optimal with a 300 spine. My only concern is that the 6mm axis is not listed on AA so I was just using the 5 mm axis on the shaft selector.

Can someone run the numbers through another shaft selector and see if the 300 spine 6mm axis will work with 75 grains insert or the 50 grain insert?

Thanks in advance!

Looking to try these arrows out for 3D and Field. My current setup is 50lbs, 30" draw, 29" arrow, 100 points.

The chart says 45-50 pounds is a 400 spine recommendation and 50-55 is a 400 recommendation.

Arrow spine question #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

I shoot 70# with 30 in. Draw length. Currently shooting gold tip hunter 300 spine 30.25 in. Finished arrow length. 100 grain heads make the total weight 430gr. I have a backup bow that is similar specs and I shoot the same arrows out of both bows. I really only want one arrow for all my bows to keep it simple. I just bought a used bow with a very short ATA length as another back up. This new used backup maxes out at 60#. I don’t want to buy new arrows for this bow if I don’t need to. Is it OK to be way overspined or will it cause problems? I can shoot 20 yards in my basement and it is hitting where I want. Will it cause accuracy issues at longer distance?

So I made a homemade spine tester and I’m trying to index my arrows. This is what I’m getting. What’s wrong? There’s no way these arrows are this perfect. The needle doesn’t move at all. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AdfaeAJBzX8

I’m looking to run my Halon 32/6 at 70 lbs draw weight, 27.5" long draw length and a 28.0" long 300 spine Spartan shaft (nock groove to insert). I’ll be using a 26 grain insert, and 125 gr tip. That will get me a 442 grain arrow with 13% foc……I’ll be running 2" blazers.

I ran the numbers through archersadvantageonline and it says that I’m slightly weak. Do yall think other calculators will confirm? I’m considering going to a 250 spine but the arrow weight goes close to 500 grains to get to optimum specs. I don’t know if I want to go that heavy.

What are some other arrows to consider using my bow specs with the arrow length? thanks
