Just bought some Easton 5mm FMJ 400 arrows. Have seen some owned by others that mushroomed the shaft after a while target shooting. I did get the BAR for the ends and will use them for broadheads, but I don’t really want to go up to a 11/32 field point that matches the outside diameter of the BAR. Is there something available similar to the BAR that has an outside diameter just slightly larger then the shaft? What have others done to protect the ends from mushrooming?

Like the title says I’ve noticed that the HIT insert system makes the tip demolish the shaft in front of the insert with even some of the smallest blows. I was wondering what you guys have done to remedy this if anything at all. I really just can’t imagine these arrows should be breaking off so easy just from hitting the dirt, not even something like a rock. All tips are appreciated. Thanks.

Any advantage to moving the vanes farther from the nock vs closer? I hate feeling the vanes on my face and considering moving it forward 1/2" to 3/4" to eliminate this. Any testing? Disadvantages or advantages to this?
Thanks,
Deone

Shot 6 two arrow groups, 1 bare and 1 fletched this is what it looks like, results were the same each time. Bare is to the left of fletched with tail to the right. What do I do to correct this
I’m shooting a Pse B.M. 32 @ 50lbs with 26" draw, rest is a W.B.
Any suggestions?
