scale…. | Archery Store

I’ve gone to two different shops recently and their scales differ by about 3 pounds. I’m not sure if this is normal but I’d like to figure out my draw weight as accurately as possible.

With my bad shoulder, if I can back it down a couple pounds I want to.

So, I’m willing to buy my own scale if I knew I could rely on the accuracy.

What’s a good ACCURATE bow scale?

Other than having it certified is they anyway to measure a spring scale to make sure it is reading the correct weight using items at home??

Im looking for a accurate hanging bow scale that i can use in my shop. I looked at the X-Spot, Sunbeam Viking Rubbermaid, Big Game, Allen Digital, Viking Hanson 100#, OMP M100, American Weigh H-110 and Pelouze 7710. I know there are other scales out there, just wanting to know what scale works for you ?

Omp grain scale.

I just got an omp grain scale and i cant get it calibrated. It says use a 200gr weight. Well i push the calibration button and set the weight on it and it blinks for awhile then it says "fail". What am i doing wrong?

Just looking for advice on a bow scale. Seems the $ 50.00 plus ones get worse reviews than the ones around $ 30.00. Anyone have one that accurate and consistent?
