Ripcord Ace Micro rest

Anyone with any experiences to share regarding the new Ripcord Ace Micro arrow rest? I see pictures and a few mentions from the recent ATA show, but haven’t seen any comments regarding actual user experiences. Looks promising, but a tad expensive.

Limb driven vs spring steel rest and torque tuning

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

I have read a bunch of previous threads on this topic but still have a couple questions. The general agreement is that a drop away or limb driver is more forgiving to shooter error because the arrow is in contact with the rest for a shorter period of time. On the other hand the blade is said to be more forgiving for perfect form because it offers extra guidance to the arrow. The shooter induced error during the shot is torque… so here’s the question. If a blade rest is torque tuned does it theoretically offer the most accurate option? It would allow maximum arrow support with forgivingness to shooter error during the shot process.

I’m no pro… a good day on the 3d course for me is about 10 down from the open stake and a good Vegas round is around 290. I’m setting up a new bow and trying to figure out what will work best for my skill level.

Fall Away Rest

I am considering switching from WB to Fall Away Rest. I have narrowed my choice down to the QAD hdx or the Limbdriver Micro Elite. I use my bow for hunting and 3d.
Comments appreciated.

Is it me or my bow(sight, rest, peep, ??)

Yep miss newbie here….
infinite edge: so i replaced the rest from hostage to whisker bisquit, apex 3 pin to trophy ridge punisher 3, added trophy ridge stabilizer and wrist sling. Since adding the stabilizer it is making a bit more noise than it was previous, last time my string started making a twang noise we found one of the modules had come unscrewed, but i have been back to the pro shop several times and all is adjusted level and tight….yet I have yet to be able to sight in at 20 yds….I have ultra tight groups dead on at 10 yds. I step back to 20 yds and no more groupings, shots all over the place, take a break, go back couple hours later, 2 arrows group at 9 o’clock, 2 group at 2 o’clock… one time one missed the bag completely. then one time only i have a tight group just a bit left of center. I adjust a tinch to the left and still back to all over. I try to take my time, proper stance, good light grip, get my anchor pts…just confused what it could be.

Vertical biow with a track or tube rest?

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

I’m having a playground discussion with an anti-crossbow feller.

He says that crossbows have tracks/rails and that makes us different that real archery.

I vividly recall that there was a tube style attachment type rest for vertical bows at one time. The manufacturer claimed superior accuracy.

Does anyone remember these and/or have a picture?

TIA

Ooops.. looks like you cant edit the title.. That should be BOW instead of BIOW. LOL..
