Under Armour Ridge Reaper Forest #archery

I was wondering if anyone had opinions on this camo? I will be whitetail hunting from a treestand in Western Pennsylvania. I know its not a traditional camo pattern, but I really really like it. Has anyone used this in the woods? It sure does have alot of green in it, so I wondered what people thought of this. If I don’t go with this, I will just get the typical realtree xtra.

New strings on ridge reaper!

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Need some new strings on a ridge reaper 34 I just traded for.

Looking for ideas on what colors I should get?

My arrows are 4 fletch blazers in flo yellow with flo yellow wrap, should I go all black with flo yellow serving, or a tan/black combo to tie in with the bow. Any ideas….

Will the grim reaper razortip 1 3/8 work good for my 200 fps bow?

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

So,I bought some Grim Reaper razortip 1 3/8 broadheads because they’re suppose to be the big wigs in broadhead industry. I am starting to wonder if they will even function right with my 50lb 200fps bow. It’s an old bow as you probably guessed. Will they open like advertised is my biggest question? I need to know if I should send them back and get some fixed blades or not.

2 inch Grim Reaper for Elk?

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

I know there have been countless posts on mechanical broadheads and their pros /cons. This is not intended to rehash that. So for the purpose of this thread lets just assume we are in the world of hunting elk with mechanicals, and narrow it even further to hunting with Grim Reapers. I shoot a 450 g arrow setup at 285 fps.. so a little over 81 kinetic energy. My question is should I hunt elk this year with the 2" whitetail specials? By goal is to do the most damage as fast as possible. With my kinetic energy I am thinking it is worth any loss in penetration for the gain in cutting surface. They recommend 1 3/8, but I’m thinking the additional almost 15/8 of cutting surface gives me a much more room for error and is worth whatever the trade off is in penetration, and should drop any animal quicker. And with my penetration I should have no problem getting through the ribs and to the second lung… Thoughts?
