Question for you Swarovski guys

Specifically the El series 10×42. Is the new model worth an extra $ 350? It looks like the only difference is the harness quick detach/attachments, locking diopter. Anything else I’m missing? It’s a $ 350 difference between the 2 both brand new ones just the older clearance model. What you say?

Question about paper tuning.

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

I tried to tune my bow the other day. I kept getting a tear I couldn’t fix. However if I turn the nock the tear turns with it. Does that mean my arrow is no good?
I have a bear arena 34. Timing is set perfect. I fixed the cam lean to the best of my ability. Arrow I was trying to tune are cheapo blackout x5 shaft. They are bass pro brand made by goldtip.

Arrow Length Question

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

Just curious, I see this a lot in today’s bowhunters. What are the cons of shooting the shortest arrow possible? I see some hunters today shooting the shortest arrows they can. I understand they want their bows shooting as fast as possible, but I feel like a shorter arrow comes with problems.

What if any are the pro’s and con’s of shooting a shorter arrow?

tuning question (walkback?)

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

had a limb crack on my martin and swapped in some new barsndale limbs. when replacing the limbs i tried to be real careful to keep the strings in the right twist and once i had it all reassembled that seemed to work bc everything seemed to be back in spec. So I shot bareshafts and fletched at 10 and they were grouped tight and slapping, no tail left or anything like that straight in. I did not have my 10/8 side bar setup when shooting the bareshafts though. So i went to the range yesterday and shot good groups around the bullseye at 20 and 40 but when i got back to 60 i was grouping consistently left about 3 inches and then at 80 grouping left about 6 inches left of bullseye. this was with the 10/8 sidebar setup. I know i had straight bareshafts at 10 so i thought i was good, but maybe i need to move my rest a little right according to a walkback tuning chart? or is this grouping left related to the sidebar. i had this sidebar setup before so im guessing its not canting anything and i just need to move the rest little bit but i just wanted confirmation. thx

Mathews no cam HTR tuning question.

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

I recently picked another HTR. I draw it back and hit back wall and it literally wants to jump forward. Absolutely no valley. My other no cam never had that issue. What can I adjust to give it a little more valley. Thanks

F.W.C. Question and some confussion

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

Ok I know the weight of all my arrow componets. When I put all the specs into the gold tip web sight for arrow calculations I get 11.3 % F.W.C. When I do the alternative method of arrow balance point minus 1/2 arrow length x 100 divided by arrow length I get 9.3 % So which one do I believe in I only have 121.4gr. on the front so I believe the 9% to be closer.
