Outsert on rest? #archery

I just invested a bunch of money on a dozen new arrows for this year (Gold Tip, Kinetic pierce platinum, with Ethics Archery insert/outsert system) because I Im getting serious about archery again after a shot time away. Well… After shooting for a while I decided it is time to look at upgrading the bow too, in large part because the more I shoot it the more I realize my current draw length is too short. Part of what I’m dreading is having to scrap the arrows I just built because they may be too short with the increased draw length and the amount of shaft the outserts take up. They are put together with "Iron Insert Glue" so I don’t think they are coming back apart.

I’m also thinking of switching from a drop away to a whisker biscuit with the switch. This got me to thinking does anyone run their outserts onto/into their rest? If a drop away falls in the first few inches of release could you start the release on an outsert on the rest? As the rest fell while the arrow was moving forward wouldn’t the taper of the outsert just help get the clearance between the shaft and rest faster? Or if using a whisker biscuit of the outsert centered in the hole as the arrow moved forward there would be plenty of clearance between the shaft and the whiskers (obviously the fletching would still contact the rest).

I know I probably just need to suck it up and get new shafts, but this had me thinking. Any thoughts?
