B.H. Tuning… going nuts… #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Driving myself crazy trying to get bh’ s to hit with fp’ s.
Bowtech carbon knight 28" 65lbs, beman 340’s at 28" Fletched with 3" fusion few degree right helical. Slick trick 100gr and Magnus black hornet 100gr. BH’ s are hitting 3-4" right at 20yds. End up having to bump the rest over to the left a decent amount to have broad heads hit dead on, then FP’ s are hitting a foot left. My sight is almost maxed out left…. could the helical be messing with me?

This stuff is cracking me up. It amazes me how many people on here are showing their true colors. What a bunch of losers.

You got a dvd that you didn’t like, wow, big deal. This ain’t blockbuster.

The guy has all the same stuff written out in a sentence by sentence document. Why in the heck would you need a dvd to start with?!?! AND then complain about it. I have always said it, this forum is full of overly sensitive people. It’s hard to block out this BS to stay on track

You people are crazy (all the cry babies, not the normal people), this is a freaking internet forum, get a life.

There is no doubt he is far more knowledgeable on archery tuning than most on here, so why are you going to bash him because his DVD didn’t live up to your expectations. I haven’t seen the DVD but I wouldn’t expect it to be too over the top, I mean it is archery tuning, it’s not a football game.

Nuts & Bolts needed 32″ draw…really?

Howdy. I am a Mathews Dealer and have been tinkering with a bow a customer ordered but backed out on. I have won quite a few area tournaments but I am really wanting to start traveling more and shooting some more and clean up my form. In the past I have always shot 30# due to the flagship models only going to that length and didn’t think twice about me having a longer draw length until a customer ordered in a Z9 at 32". I have been shooting 30" consistently for over 15 years. A little background: He is 6’7" and he assured me that this was his proper DL and that he had been shooting for years. He is quite a hunter and he has quite a few deer on the wall that are 180+. I went ahead and ordered a 29" and 30" cam for the Z9 in case he didn’t like the bow and I could sell it to another customer.

When he arrived at the shop he said he really wanted a heli-m but it didn’t go to his proper DL. Given his height I figured he was right. Well upon further inspection it turns out that he only has a 29" draw and with the Z9 and the 29" cam he didn’t like the speeds he was getting out of the bow and purchased a Heli-M that evening.

I now have the bow in my shop and have been tinkering with the 32" a bit. The draw feels much better than the 30". I am about 6’3" or 6’2" on a short day..lol. Both measuring techniques have me right in the 31" range but I just dismissed it and shot 30". I think I am going to just buy this bow from my shop.

I suppose that I am a circus freak with just long arms. I know enough to shoot very good, but I want to run it to the next level. Folks might say well you are a dealer with a pro shop, you should be able to work on these things by yourself, but I am a very humble person and will always be listening to others and what insight they have to improve my shooting.

I do feel like I am dipping my head down to look through the peep sight. I know it needs moved up and I also feel like I am putting too much weight on the left leg and leaning in to the shot. I will try and work on these as well and post up some more photos.

Here are a few phone photos of the draw at 32" draw. Anything you would change to this form Nuts & Bolts?

Thanks in advance.
