Property Management Timeline #archery

Long time hunter, but new to land management here. My family owns a farm in Eastern MO (approx. 2,000 acres) that I have hunted since I was a kid. We have never done any management as it is a functioning cattle/crop farm along the Missouri River bottoms. We have large open bottoms with small hard wood strips along the river edge and some moderate sized hard wood plots (1-6 acres) throughout. There are also larger wooded areas in the bluffs that provide more cover with hard woods and cedar groves.
With the background stated, what I would like to figure out is a timeline of management throughout the year. What month do I do a controlled burn, put up cameras, move cameras, place stands, cut shooting lanes, put in food plots, place supplements, and so forth. I would love for some of you to weigh in on your month to month timeline leading up to season. Thanks in advance!

Deer Management: When to shoot does?

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Ok I was just reading a thread and someone posted they see these nice 2.5-3.5 yo deer every year then pass them and not see them the next year. I got to thinking a few things could be in play here.
1) Deer shot by other hunters(doubtful as this guy said he had control of 900 acres)
2) Dominant buck pushed them out
3) Does aren’t there to keep the bucks around
4) Lack of Food Habitat
We can improve food and habitat, and we can control doe population
I think most would say you need to shoot does to keep your ratio closer to 1:1
Now that makes your bucks need to be looking for does and competition is high
Unfortunately maybe they go looking elsewhere for does and not on your property.
In my mind I want as many does on my property during hunting season to keep the bucks around.
I generally try to shoot does after the rut/breeding takes place.
I see on most hunting shows guys taking does early season.
Hmmm…which way is correct? For those guys who manage property what do you do?
Shoot your does early or late?
