HHA Optimizer lite issues #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Alright, I just bought a used bow that had an optimizer lite installed on it. I went from a 28" to a 30" draw length but other than that everything stayed the same. In order to get my bow sighted in I had to drop the housing down to the bottom bracket, and I am afraid that I will clip the arrows if I slide it down to 80 yards. What could be causing this, and how do I fix it?

Hunter stab issues

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

My first hunters setup is the 10-8 bee stingers sport hunters. I’m running them on an xcentric 7. Everyone says xpedition loves a lot of rear weight. I’ve adjusted several different ways. Now running 4oz total front and 16 total rear. At full draw my pin still starts dropping. I’m thinking this is because it’s adding total weight to the bow itself. The bow does want to slightly rock back. When I bring weight off the back and some off the front the pin still rolls down.
Any tips guys. I’m wanting to shoot 3 and 5 spot tourneys.
The bow naturally wants to rock to the right at draw. So I’m trying to level it by adjusting the back bar more to the left so I’m not fighting the bubble.

I haven’t been able to access A/T from my phone for about a week now, every time I try to open the app/forum…the screen-shot below is what happens. I know with absolute certainty that I’m not entering the incorrect username or password, even with the new password regulations regarding a capital letter & symbol…anybody else having a similar problem, or can anyone offer any insight? Thanks!

XOP Offset Quick Connect Bracket issues

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Anyone using the XOP Quick Connect bracket? I am having an issue of when I try to slide the stand out of the bracket, the bracket will not stay in place so the stand can slide out. I have the strap as tight as it will go…this is a similar type issue that I had with the Summit Talon bracket or whatever it was called. Looking to see if anyone has a solution to this.

Thanks.

Spine issues or center shot probe??

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Shooting a carbon spyder 30 at 66 lbs, using Easton Axis 400’s at 28".

Having issues, muzzy MX3’s are 3-4 inches right of field points(100gr) at 30 yards. Dbl checked center shot and it looked good and proshop, bumped it away from the riser just a tad and seemed to help a bit, but if CS looks good I don’t want to mess with it to much!? Do I need to goto a 500spine axis?

Thank you for any advise and help!

Cam timing issues… need some advice/help please

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Ok i am in the process of trying to get my cams in time on a diamond infinite edge. I have the cams in time now but the cables have quite a bit more tension on them than they did when i started due to having to twist them. My problem is that it is putting a bit too much pressure on the cable slide and it is causing it to grip it and drag across the slide making a bit of noise and making for a not so smooth draw. Should i try and rleave equal amounts of twist in each cable until it relieves enough pressure to stop the drag or how should i approach this to keep my cams in time but eliminate the drag on the cable slide. thanks in advance to any and all help.

‘Frayed so…bow string issues

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

I’ve been shooting a Ben Pearson Cougar that is marked as 45# at 28". I have a 30-ish inch draw (I’m still on the steep part of the learning curve, so this is in flux).

I am going through bow strings like crazy. The bow is fraying them at the top. I have checked on line and done searches on this forum for repair options. I have done some fine sanding, though have not yet refinished.

Some questions:
1. What sort of finish should I put on the freshly sanded tips?
2. Is a heat shrink style tip protector UNDER the string an option?

Thanks for your suggestions and tips.

– Zurf

p.s. I am planning a trip to Lancaster Archery Supply in a couple weeks, where I do intend to pick up a new bow that is both longer and lower in draw weight than the Ben Pearson Cougar. It just galls me to have a piece of outdoor equipment that isn’t working properly.
