Archers Advantage Website issue #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Hi AT folks. I had downloaded the Archers Advantage program a while back and it’s giving me issues. I want to update it but the www.archersadvantage.com website seems to be offline? Anyone able to access it? I’m not talking about Archers Advantage Online site. I’m talking about the one where you download from.

Issue with Cabelas wrist release #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

I purchased a Cabela’s Marksman wrist release last January and after about a months worth of indoor use, it developed an audible clicking noise when actuating the release. I asked one of the archery techs about it the next time I was in the store and they said to just give it a little bit of gun oil and that should take care of it. I went home and oiled it, but the click remained. I decided to not make a big deal out of it and let it be as it was hardly noticeable.

After using the release this season, the clicking has gotten substantially worse. I went to a local shop yesterday to demo some new bows and it was to the point where the release was not closing all the way unless I forced the trigger all the way forward and kept pressure on it. It even got so bad that the release slipped off the D-loop once as I began my draw, which resulted in an arrow going forward about three feet. This happened again with my newly purchased bow right after I left the shop and went to the range… I’m now ensuring I force the trigger all the forward when I draw, but I could easily see myself forgetting to do this in a hunting situation with disastrous results.

Can anyone recommend a way to repair this? I’ve tried hitting it with CLP a couple times, but it hasn’t improved anything. When I bought this release it came with Cabela’s lifetime warranty which I doubt they will now honor since BPS took over. Should I try and get them to replace it regardless or should I just eat the cost and go buy a new release?

Thanks for any inputs.

Muddy Pro Stick Issue #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

I just purchased a new set of pro sticks and the steps wobble on the stick like a see saw while climbing. It scared me pretty good the other day as I thought the step had broken. They appear to be solid, the fit just isn’t as tight as it needs to be where the step mechanism meets the square tube structure.
Has anyone else had this issue? If so what can be done to correct it or do I just have to live with it?

My issue with my Realm X #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Ok, this is not a complaint about the bow, as far as I’m concerned this thing is perfect….minus 1 thing! I’m having the grip issue a lot of other bowtech shooters have talked about on here. My knuckle on my left hand is rubbing the riser and after close to 75 shots today (first serious shooting session) it is sore and raw. I’m not keen on any real modification but open to suggestions. I’ve thought about a thin fingerless glove on that hand or just sticking mole skin on that knuckle when it’s going to be an extended shooting session like today. Hopefully someone will design a different aftermarket grip or silicon cover soon. My bow is set up with the hha ol-5519 sight, smackdown pro rest, & TR 12” static stab and is quiet but could benefit from limb dampeners as we tested it out with and without a set of bowjax and there was a slight, yet noticeable, difference.

Hinge release and back tension issue

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

I switched to a longhorn hunter a few months ago after suffering from target panic with my index release. It saved my hobby but I’ve been having some trouble trying to shoot with back tension with it. I know it’s suppose to be seated more in my knuckles however it seems like I can’t get my middle and ring finger around the release to properly shoot with back tension. Usually I just end up squeezing my ring finger to get the shot off. If I try to seat it further in my hand I end up accidentally releasing the shot. I tried playing around with the wrist strap length but that didn’t help. I pull back with my index finger and thumb seated on the post but I feel like it I try pulling back with my middle and ring finger also on the release I’ll set it off. I shoot fine using the method I do but I’d really like to learn back tension properly.

Help with issue concerning sight housing!

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

All,

I have gotten a new bow this past weekend, mathews chill x and we did paper tuning from about 5 yards and it shot bullets.

When I get home I go to shoot and my arrow is high and to the left by about a foot. I can almost correct the left and right issues, but to do this I have to max out my elevation and windage settings on the housing of my sight. What are your suggestions to correct this issue, could thus be a rest tuning issye, a sight issue, etc.

Any help is much appreciated!

Also the sight is a large (2 inch) spot hogg hunter 5 pin

SD Card Issue… Please Help!!

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

I am not sure this is the correct section, but since it has to do with bowhunting I thought I would put it here.

A few months ago I bought an adapter so I could view pics or video in the field on my phone. It seems to mess up the SD card anytime I try to use it. This weekend I drove to a property 2 hours away to do a bit of shed hunting (no luck) and to check my camera. I have a Bushnell Trophy Cam. The batteries were dead, but after putting new batteries in the camera it showed the SD card had around 560 video clips. I turned the camera off and removed the SD card and put a formatted SD card back in the camera. I tried to use the SD card adapter with my phone and no luck. I thought no big deal. I will just view them on my laptop when I get home. I got home and inserted the SD card in my laptop and it showed the disk drive, but when I tried to double click it nothing happens. I just get a little circle spinning and then it says… No disk in the E: Drive found. Please insert disk. I try removing it and putting it back in. Sometimes on the my computer page it just shows FT Drive and sometimes it shows 10.1 GB of 14.9GB Free.

I am thinking the SD card is now corrupted. It won’t even allow me to right click and format the card. I thought maybe some of you that are more computer and technically savy than myself might be able to lend some insight on possible solutions? I really want to be able to get the videos off the camera. I know that there were some big bucks that walked through the area. Any help is greatly appreciated.
