Anyone mold or make their own grips before?
Saw a video online of someone using plumber’s putty and a few pictures of other grips done this way, but it made the grips wide and big. Was hoping for something that would work but would be skinny. In short, I’ve found that I like a straight grip somewhere between thin and medium but there are a few areas where I would like to contour the grip slightly. Idea is to start with a thin grip on the bow itself, but a thin grip I can put over it, and find some what to mold/shape it for my hand – not sure how to get this going though.

Of all the bows I’ve had, the one I shot the best was an ’08 HF6 (PSE). I’ve been shooting either a Bowtech BOSS or CPXL for the last couple of years. Because they are 36" and 35" A to A, I now have a hard time with shorter A to A bows. So it would be hard to just go back to an older HF6 or HF7. I tried a PSE Supra and just couldn’t get it to group, I believe because of the grip. SO, my question is, of the late model PSEs, which one would be closest to the old B.E.S.T. grip? I’m most interested in the Evolve 35 or the Decree HD 35.
Thanks in advance for the help, Rjoe.

Hello everyone back around 2007 or so there was a guy on AT that made really nice wooden grips.
Does anyone know if he is still around and making them anymore?
Thanx

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on whether the coloured/ different angled grips that GRIV was promoting would work on the XXL or if they only work for the Hoyt target Bows that come standard with the different grip angles. Really interested in this bow, but want the different grip options. Thanks!
