The white hog was a passthrough. The big boar wasnt a passthrough, but shot with a slight quartering to placement. Hit dead center up the leg center of the shoulder mass..not the shoulder bone. Went in and hit off side bone and got about 8" or so penetration. Very solid hog. Went about 30 yards.

These are some of the toughest critters in N America. 405 gr worked fine. Shot placement was key. The broadhead of choice was not ideal for the big hog(would have used a 3 blade deadmeat had I had time to evaluate the situation), but did fine. Both of the hypo heads were intact and appeared to be perfectly fine after the shots and were actually still sharp. I just took them off and got another one since I have quite a few.

Just to play and see first hand what can be done with "Not Much Bow"?…this is a 56"/15# PSE Optima I bought my middle daughter for Christmas…about 14 years ago…it was covered with dust in a closet and broke my heart to see it that way…so I cleaned it up…waxed the string…screwed on a stab and wrist sling and?…went out back and played…it’s a kiddy bow…but I sure wouldn’t want anybody drawing down on me with it! LOL!

A late new years eve out and a rockstar sugar free energy drink didn’t help much…diabetes sux. 🙁
