helping my son get sponors/donations for National Competition #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

Hello. My son is one of 4 youth in Oregon going to the Nationals for a 4H competition in June. He needs to raise approximately $ 3,000 for the trip. He also would like to get sponsored for some new equipment. I’m new to this and would love to get input from those who have done it or know what he can do to get his trip funded. Thanks!

demystify competition stablizers for me #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

This isn’t a question to bash companies and their price points, I don’t really care about how expensive they are money wise.

But what technology is really in a stabilizer to justify how much one is over another?

For instance, a high end bee stinger vs a high end doinker. What is the difference in these 2 stabilizers over their lower end stabilizers. I really don’t understand how they are priced so any insight would be helpful.

Is there more carbon to make one stiffer over the other? Are they just hollow carbon rods or is there something inside of them. What makes them better than say a Shadow stab that is much cheaper, or even an AEP or similarly priced stab.

Sorry if this has been discussed before, I did search but can’t really find the exact answer I was looking for.

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

Girlfriend has been shooting formabout three years now and shooting really good. This year shes just started having the panic not every target but some of the 3d targets that are at max yardage sure make her punch pretty bad. Shes using a wrist strap scotts trigger and is hesitant about using a thumb style handle release so my question is what resistance activated trigger release would be the best help? Squeeze me or bernies are two i can think of any advice would be great.

Competition Recurve – No Idea Where to Start

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

Hi folks,

I’m interested in purchasing a recurve bow to compete in local traditional leagues and tournaments. I really like Hoyt bows, but don’t know where to start. There are so many options!

Right now I shoot a 35# @ 28" root pendulus from the 60s. It’s fine, but I need something with a little more meat to step up against the big boys.

Any clues where I should start? Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!
