ASAT brand clothing? #archery

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

Any of you guys got any experience with ASAT brand clothing? The pants in particular. I’m looking for something comparable to Cabelas microtex or FL’s Knab pant. I’ve had a hard time finding actual reviews. I know Gray Wolf and Day One make clothing in this pattern but I’m just not ready to fork out for it yet.

Thanks,

Clothing Help Needed

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

I’m getting back into hunting after a break of a few years and need to overhaul my clothing. My cold weather clothing makes me look like the marshmallow man and makes it very difficult to draw a bow. I’ve searched and read quite a bit over the last few days but still don’t know what to do and would appreciate your suggestions. I live in Oklahoma where early archery season is usually 30-70° and late season can get as low as 10°. I would say average late season lows are upper 20′s to low 30′s. We get a good amount of wind. I mostly hunt from the ground but enjoy still hunting when it’s raining or windy enough to hide my noise.

As of now the only current clothing I plan on keeping long term is an ASAT Leafy Suit. I love this suit and plan on using it most of the time. I plan on purchasing First Lite Allegheny bottoms and a Llano top, Smartwool socks and a liner. The local Cabela’s recommended the Cabela’s Lookout Fleece pants and jacket with a Cabela’s Instinct Backcountry Hybrid Vest for cold weather layering. I love the low bulk but am concerned if this is warm enough, will it block enough wind and what about rain? I see quite a few recommendations on AT for fleece and wool, do you just carry rain gear every outing in case it’s needed?

I’m looking for low bulk, quality items that will last without spending more than is necessary. I also would prefer to purchase as few pieces as possible, I’m not into having a closet full of hunting clothes with the perfect outfit for every possible scenario. This is long for a first post but I figured more information was better than not enough. Thank you for your suggestions.

All season hunting clothing system – who has one and is happy with it?

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

Looking to start over and build a through the season (hot to cold, windy single digits) system that is as lightweight as possible but still be warm on the treestand…not hiking through the great West although I could certainly see overlap. Just wanting to see what people have a system and are happy with it and what it is.

Thanks.

Waterproof hunting clothing?

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies on Amazon.com

Anyone have some quiet waterproof clothing they recommend? I really want something like an "all in one" deal. For example: warm, quiet, dry, plenty of pockets and comfortable. Affordability is nice too. Really don’t know where to start seems like everyone bumps up their prices because of "scent proof" technology. Any help would be great!
