70lbs bow set at 65lbs

The bow is tuned where there are two timing dots showing on the top cam and bottom cam.

So I’m getting Right Tear and I moved the rest away from the risor to correct it but that didn’t help and the rest was too far over. So I centered everything again and this time I switched out the cable slide which pulled the cables tighter to the cable rid and it actually improved the Right tear a little.

Reading a tuning guide it stated something about … move cable guard away from the arrow (increase load on cable guard).

What does this actually mean and how do I make those adjustments.

Are there any cable slides that bring the cables tighter away from the arrow?
Is there anyway to twist cables to make them tighter?

If I remember correctly the Carbon Knight was a mid-season release in 2013. Both Bowtech and Diamond have had several models based on the Carbon Knight riser. They have had to make enough money back for the mold by now – probably tenfold. To say it is "long in th tooth" is a gross understatement. When will they ever release a NEW carbon riser bow???

Looking for some suggestions on what arrows and what spine to shoot. I am shooting a Bowtech Boss at 31.5" and 70lbs.

Does the Carbon Icon have the ability to accept a treelimb premium quiver riser mount like their alum riser bows? Assuming not, but thought I’d check.

Boss has not "exploded."

I’m trying to figure out which to buy.i know the carbon icon replaced the knight.but I see the specs are the same.im just trying to figure out if the extra money for a icon is worth it.i did shoot a icon yesterday and loved it.im coming from a destroyer 350.and haven’t hunted for about 4yrs now.but coming back!!! I did love the destroyer.any input would be great.thanks

Thinking of getting one of these bows and would appreciate any thoughts on each. I have had a Prime One in the past and loved it, but I am really liking the way the Bowtech looks, and all the bells and whistles. Haven’t found a shop with an Icon or Ion to shoot so I am looking for opinions on them.
