Anyone mold or make their own grips before?
Saw a video online of someone using plumber’s putty and a few pictures of other grips done this way, but it made the grips wide and big. Was hoping for something that would work but would be skinny. In short, I’ve found that I like a straight grip somewhere between thin and medium but there are a few areas where I would like to contour the grip slightly. Idea is to start with a thin grip on the bow itself, but a thin grip I can put over it, and find some what to mold/shape it for my hand – not sure how to get this going though.

Who else on here remembers shooting Omens and Safaris with 350 grain arrows. Now as time passes by we gotta settle for 60-65 pounders with smooth cams and abide by the Ranch Fairies recommendation of 500 + grain arrows. Na ,I still love to blaze-em.

Trying to get my 13 yr old son back into archery. I’m looking for something that is adjustable as he is still growing. So far, I’ve looked at the Bear Cruzer G2 and Diamond Infinite Edge Pro. Any other options in that price range I should look at?

Thank you for letting me join.
The primary reason I joined, aside from enjoying archery, was to gain knowledge and information from those more experienced than myself. I work at a small shop in Pa., and we still have 2 new ( unsold old stock ) Rattlesnake Archery Equalizer bows in stock. My issue is that these bows date from around 1994, the company that made them went out of business in 2003, and the internet seems devoid of information. I know that the bows were designed with pin stops in the cams, and that the design was bought by a larger company and removed from the market, but that is the extent of my knowledge.
Does anybody have any knowledge or experience with these bows?

Hello. New to the forum. I’ve been googleing and searching here for sometime trying to see if there are any benefits to one or the other as far as lever and compound bows. IS it just the different action? Or is there benefit to one over the other? I love my recurve so I was thinking about going lever and picking up a Phoenix. Any input would be appreciated.
**Edit**This will be for hunting. For now at least.
