I know this has been beaten to death but I’m gonna beat it again. I recently sold both my sights and am in the market for a new one. I’m going away from a dovetailed sight and will be going to a direct mount on a hunting only setup. Of these three, which would you choose and why. I have done my research and know much about the Tommy Hogg having had a Hogg Father and Fast Eddie but don’t know much about the latter two. Any opinions and comments are welcome. Thanks much!

Have had this sight for a while, I love it, it’s the single pin slide with dovetail. With that said it is making an awful vibration noise upon the shot. I have called black gold several times to see if the could help and all of their suggestions have failed. It’s coming from the sight housing when I tap on the housing it vibrates but I can’t pin point the sound. Has anyone had any other experiences like this. Blackjack golds suggestion was to buy another housing for $ 90 not appealing.

I have been wearing Mountain pants for a little while now, and they are by far my favorite pair of pants. I just recently got a pair of Ascent pants for wearing when its warmer out, and I’m really unsure if there is a need for them. They don’t feel THAT much lighter than the Mountain pants, and I’m curious if I am ever going to wear them more than once or twice a year – and times when my Mountain pants would have worked anyways. Thinking about maybe just returning the Ascents…

Anyone here own both and actually wear them both?

looking for an adjustable 3 pin sight.
i’m very satisfied with my current fixed pin from MBG especially on pin brightness. thus my looking at the ascent verdict 3 pin.
but would the tommy hogg be a better choice?

Have my pack choice’s down to these two, looking for some help on picking one. Needed for eastern whitetail tree stand hunting mainly, one mile from from the truck, must carry a bow strapped to the pack,a small video camera and 3rd arm mini camera arm in the pack also hunting gear for day hunts. Can anyone give me the dimensions of the packs, can’t find any in my area? New ones are little out of budget been watching classified. If you guys have any other idea’s on packs let me know.
