I’ve spent a lot of opening weekends at Siloam Springs over the last 25+ years hunting deer with buddies, but the last several it has just been me and my buddy. This year we thought about changing things up and trying JEPC.
Is this place high pressure during the opening weekend? Is there some good hunting to be had there or are deer far and in between?
I am going to make a couple of trips there to do some scouting. Not sure what all I will get into. It’s definitely a heck of a lot bigger compared to Siloam Springs.

I’ve been running some cameras the last few weeks, kinda taking inventory of a couple of spots…. I have a lot of pictures of bucks sparing. This picture was taken about a week ago. Seems kinda late for it to be going on…..especially since I’m trying to see when they’re going to start dropping antlers.

Hello, I’ve been looking at a couple of the Rangefinding bow sights now and like the features of the Burris Oracle. The pros I see are it has the lifetime warranty , no glass to scratch or fog up and Burris has extensive experience in auto ranging rifle scopes. The cons I see are weight and obviously expensive. Before anyone chimes in that opposes these sights and doesn’t believe in them, save it…everyone has their right to like or dislike whatever product they chose. For me any type of gear that will increase my odds of getting the exact yardage and a quick ethical kill in the heat of the moment, I’m all for it. Thank you for any information and/or advice!!

I’m coming from a target background and getting into hunting. I prefer a longer ATA. I plan on an elk hunt next year. Does anyone here hunt with an Elite Victory 37 or something long in ata still?

I contacted Lancaster and they say it’s too close to give it a green light. I think they are coming at it from a liability perspective through.

I really don’t want to plunk down the cash for an EZ Green but I need to start working on the bow soon.

I bought one of these sniper outlaw tripod stands at Menards last year when they were clearing them out. Hunted out of it once and the seat is awful. I’m wondering if anyone here has one or if they have done any modifications to it. I’m wondering about just taking the whole seat out and using a camping chair. They seat is in the center so you have enough room to turn completely around but it puts you to close to the edge. Being able to sit back further in a more comfortable chair would be good I think.
