I currently own the fanatic set which gets me threw late season in NY (when I also wear my battery heated jacket underneath) so I have that covered. I run cold so I typically start wearing the fanatic when temps dip into the lower 50s. I have worn it in the upper 50s but that is starting to push it to feeling too warm. I just got a stratus set in and it feels a bit lighter than expected which is great but now im wondering just how cold you can get to with reasonable layers underneath? I also ordered a Fanatic Hoody so I will be wearing the fanatic hoody with the stratus Bibs in warmer weather (60s) and then add the stratus jacket when things cool off. Our hunting season kicks off October 1st. Typical days in early October will have mornings in the 40s and then warm up into the 60s (we have the occasional hot day in the 70s but I will typically just stay home for those). So how cold do you think is reasonable with a few layers and how warm have you worn your stratus before feeling too hot? Thanks!
