new strings on Drenalin or new bow? #archery

Picked up a 70#/29 Drenalin brand new in plastic in 2016 as a lighter elk hunt option and sweet cost. Now experiencing some issues with sudden onset string twist as my peep began twisting after the shot, BAD. Just wont stay where I need it. So I threw on an ol tube set up (band-aid). Now that im starting to really fine tune and shoot broad heads, issues are rising. Issues that were not there last year. I know my arrows were under spine so I decreased weight to compensate. Nothing changed in the set up and now poor results. Back to the drawing board with the tuning process, but its a mess. Maybe its just my frustrations getting the best of me?

Drenalin 27" @ 65lbs factory strings
Axis N-fused 400 9.8 gpi @ 27.75" 100g head, norway fusion 2.1, 3 Fletch
QAD drop away with confirmed no fetching contact
Shooting Muzzy trocar heads, could change maybe

The real question here?? Opinion… Does a guy put the 100 bucks into a new set of strings and another $ $ $ likely into some new arrows to get the bow shooting how it should be? Or do I just drop the ching on a new rig? Money is and isn’t a factor. I want to save some dollars as we are encroaching on Elk season which is already breaking the bank and been shooting this rig a while so comfort factor. Was planning on bow shopping next winter maybe but is spending the money on this, maybe go now. Thanks for any input!
