Couple maintenance questions

Discount Prices on Archery Supplies Right Here

Hey guys(and gals)! Just joined the forum and I’ve only recently got into archery. I’ve also only been shooting my recurve since the start of summer so I’m pretty much a beginner.

Anyway, what are the proper ways to store a bow? I’ve heard of hanging them by the strings or by the riser but since I’m in an apartment I can’t exactly start drilling holes in the walls. Would my current setup (pictured) be fine?

Also, most of the time when I shoot I can hear the string or bow make a buzzing or humming sort of noise, is this natural or is there something wrong with my form/bow?

Lastly every time I go to the local range I just put my bow strung and fully assembled into my car, but yesterday I bought a proper bow case from Dick’s S.G. so now I’m wondering if I should unstring, disassemble and pack it into the case and then reassemble it when I get to the range and repeat when I go home or should I just keep doing what I’m doing now? Or is there another way to do it?
A lot of questions, but I am a newbie and I want to learn the right stuff before it’s too late! Cheers!photo 1.jpgphoto 2.jpg
