WILL SPINE INDEXING YOUR ARROW SHOW THIS MUCH VARIATION ON PAPER?
I’ve been having more troubles tuning my Triax (previous post about crazy high poundage).
Setup:
28" draw
75 lb peak weight
Easton axis 300 match grade, 27.25" carbon to carbon,
Arrow 480 grain total, 100 point, 50 insert.
My groupings have been terrible past 30 and I suspect improper arrow flight.
Took a bare shaft to paper and after making some adjustments I was finding the arrow shot better nocked one way that the other. You can see by the picture the tears labeled "1" were oriented in one way and a "2" oriented the other way. You can see the tear goes nock right on the 2’s.
I know there is still significant tear on both orientations but the difference was repeatable.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance
