What would be your definition of each? How important do you think it is to be an extremely good shot to be an elite bow hunter? The reason I ask is because I don’t consider myself a good shot with a bow. I do always fill my tags with nice whitetail bucks. I don’t even practice much. I just seem to know when to shoot and seldom get busted. I never shoot past 30 yards. I hear guys around here talk about 50 and 60 yard shots but to me that seems crazy. I find it much more beneficial to spend my time scouting and learning how deer act and travel than shooting my bow. I shoot a few arrows a week for a couple months before the season and a few once the season starts but that is about it. I love bow hunting and I hunt a ton but I really don’t enjoy shooting my bow for no reason. Anyone else feel this way?
